Rose hip seed oil9/19/2014 We have sourced out one of the finest rose hip seed oils on the market. This is considered an extra virgin rose hip seed oil. Most rose hip seed oils are almost clear with out any scent. Our rose hip seed oil has a slight pink colour and a very light scent of rose. The one on the left is the commercial brand. The one on the right is Free Spirit's organic extra virgin rose hip seed oil This oil is naturally full of essential fatty acids including Vit. F and one of the only oils to contain Retinoic acid otherwise known as Retinol A. When Retinol A is extracted and reproduced in labs it is added to anti wrinkle cream because it irritates the skin and causes it to swell. This reduces the appearance of fine lines. Once the user stops applying the cream the skin goes back. Over the longer term this can add years to the overall appearance of the skin. In the natural state rose hip seed oil is good for oily, mature, sensitive skin, problematic and skin with large pores. It is one of the best oil sources of Omega 3 and a good source of Omega 6. Rose hip seed oil helps to reduce the size of the pores, it's natural content of Vitamin A is also very helpful for all kinds of skin infections such as acne, pimples and boils. It is also useful to moisturize and feed the skin helping mature skin look and feel younger. Rose hip seed oil has a short surface time on the skin, absorbing quickly and without leaving an oily residue. It truly is a very good face oil. Contents: 13 – 19 % Oleic Acid (Omega 9), 48% Linoleic Acid (Omega 6); 25 - 35% Alpha Linoleic Acid (Omega 3); 5 – 8% Glycerin; 0.06 – 0.09% E-vitamin - Natural D-alpha Tocopherol; 0.0001% A-Vitamin Acid (Retinol Acid); a tiny amount of Beta carotene. Our hip seed when blended with other oils can assist in the healing qualities of our products.
