Shea Butter


Shea butter is a solid oil extracted from the nut of a Karite tree.
Shea butter naturally contains Vitamin A and Vitamin E, but greatest of all - shea butter also consists of complex fatty acids. Free Spirit's shea butter is entirely organic and unrefined so as not to diminish any of its natural qualities. It is also fair traded.

We use an unrefined organic shea butter in many of our products. When it is added to our olive oil soap it creates a rich thick lather.
