Bring to a boil; turn down heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat; cover pot and let steep for 20 minutes. Strain. Drink at least 1 cup to start; then drink freely. Honey or lemon may be added. I am a male so I haven't went through the whole hormonal seesaw, but I have went to bed a few nights with my wife, the window wide open and the fan on full.
